What is Active Manuka Honey?

Manuka honey is made from the flowers of the Manuka bush, a native of New Zealand. It is 100% natural and it is harvested from our pure and unpolluted green environment.

As Professor Molan - the scientist who discovered the original Manuka honey activity - said "There's nothing like that ever been found anywhere else in the world". Indeed, Manuka honey is one of the world's greatest health honeys.

Active Manuka honey has further antibacterial activity which is derived from NPA (Non Peroxide Activity). Activity rating is indicated by a number and the higher the number, the higher the antibacterial activity. This is identified by testing in independent laboratories.

New Zealand's Active Manuka honey is recommended for therapeutic use. It is a powerful antibiotic against difficult and persistent infections. It has also a major role to play in digestive health thanks its anti-inflammatory properties. To sum up, it is effective to treat as many internal as external medical conditions such as ulcers, indigestion, burns or acne...etc.
